Hi,

I am writing this post as an update on the various events which have occured within the past couple of months.

Starting with my most recent project: http://www.andyhudsonmusic.com - this project was a brilliant little bit of work.
The client: Mr. Andy Hudson is a freelance musical creative, he was looking for a site which was very simple but stylish at the same time. He came to me with a relatively clear idea of what he wanted from his site in terms of content and design and wanted advice on whether or not his ideas could be put into action on his site.

I have recently come across a number of sites which are really quite poor. The sites which will remain nameless, all look as though they were designed in the beginning of the internet, the classic one colour background and box buttons which make web developers shudder.

Then I thought I shouldn't be annoyed at these sites at all, I should embrace them, offer to re-develop and re-design them and bring them into the modern web era.

I have recently signed up to a website: www.studentgems.com

This website aims at providing students with work based on their skills.

Instead of employers simply posting their jobs up or the need for services, they can now search for students by their skills. I, for example have listed my skills as website design/development and animation.

I have had many different leads for jobs as well as a project I have recently completed (to be shown in the portfolio soon)

Now the site is pretty much up and running and looking good I have created a couple of links to other sites which I have created : http://www.bohemiaphoto.co.uk and http://www.goingglutenfree.co.uk

First blog post on my new website!

At the moment I'm not really doing anything else apart from trying to get all the modules and stuff working, hopefully the site will all go swimmingly!
